How to Upgrade your Weapons and Armor by hunting.

A good reason why a lot of people hunt because they want to upgrade their tomestone weapons and armor. Hunters can collect seals and nuts to purchase upgrade items from vendors to get that extra boost to help clear those raids and new content. In clearing savage tier raids you can also obtain the items needed to upgrade your tome gear as well. Upgrading items got better much better 6.0. Instead of two pieces of random gear dropping from two coffers, players receive 3 specific gear coffers, upgrade items, and books. These coffers are of specific types; such as rings, weapons, chest piece etc. When you use the coffer they become their corresponding armor, accessory, or weapon based on the class you are on, so be careful when you open them. The drops for upgrade items in the savage dungeons have changed as well. The second fight of each tier drops upgrades for accessories, and the third drop upgrades for armor and weapons. Each fight also drops a unique book that can be exchanged in various quantities for armor and upgrade items, more information is listed below. There are four fights for each tier of Savage Raids. The 6.0 raid is "Pandamonium", so the raids are listed from P1S to P12S. Each time a new raid tier gets introduced, a new item level cap is introduced for gear. 2.0 Turn's 1 through 5 (this is the exception to the rule) max i-level was 90; 2.0's top i-level was 120, 3.0's top tier was 270, 4.0's top tier was 400, and now 5.0's top tier for gear is 530. The earliest and primary source for upgrading your tomestone gear is getting the upgrade items or books in sufficient quantity from the savage raids. The secondary source is hunt currency. This becomes available at a later patch after some time has passed, typically when the 24-man raids become available where you can also obtain a coin, the third source of upgrading gear, that can be exchanged for upgrade items.

6.0 Endwalker Gear

Lunar Envoy Gear (item level 630)
The base 620 weapons can be purchased with 500 x Tomestone of Causality plus an Ultralight Tomestone from Cihanti in Radz-at-Han. Ultralight Tomestones can be obtained with 4 x Unsung Blade of Abyssos, which drop from completing Abyssos: The Eight circle (not savage), and trading to the vendors Djole in Radz-at-Han or from Mylenie in Labyrinthos.
The base 620 armor and accessories can also be purchased with 375 to 825 x Tomestone of Causality from Cihanti in Radz-at-Han.
Lunar Envoy gear can be upgraded from 620 to 630 with the coresponding upgrade item from Khaldeen in Radz-at-Han.

Lunar Envoy Weapons are upgradeable with Moonshine Brine which drops in Abyssos: The Seventh Circle (savage).
Moonshine Brine can also be purchased in the following ways:
- 4 x Abyssos Mythos III tomes from Djole in Radz-at-Han or from Mylenie in Labyrinthos.

Lunar Envoy Armor is upgradeable with Moonshine Twine which dropps in Abyssos: The Seventh Circle (savage).

Radiant Gear (item level 600)

Radiant gear can be upgraded from 590 to 600 with the coresponding upgrade item from Khaldeen in Radz-at-Han.

Radiant Weapons are upgradeable with Radiant Roborant which drops in Asphodelos: The Third Circle.
The Roborant can also be purchased in the following ways:
